Wayfarer Travel

Designing a beautiful user interface for a fictional travel company.

Project Type: B2C Travel

Role: UI Design, Brand Design

Duration: 10 Hours

Project Overview

Wayfarer is a fictional travel company dedicated to making travel quick and easy for its users. I was tasked with creating a simple and responsive landing page design, with a 10 hour timeline.

Wireframes

In my early sketches, I tried to focus mainly on how to display the content in a creative and exciting way that would help inspire young travelers.

Brand Development

Wayfarer already had a logo, so the branding process was solely about creating a cohesive identity through color and font exploration.

Project Summary

Given that this was a fictional company, there was a lot of opportunity to get creative within the framework of the project. It was a fun and challenging opportunity to test my ability to create something beautiful within a very short time frame.

I plan to revisit this design in the future and go through the UX design process, creating a usable application and website for Wayfarer.

This was a great learning experience for branding and UI design, and good practice for following a close timeline.
